The Lycans AeroDesign Team was born from a shared passion for aerospace engineering and a desire to push the boundaries of what student teams can achieve. Founded in 2016, we started as a small group of dedicated students with big dreams.
Over the years, we've grown from a fledgling team to world champions, consistently improving our designs and performance. Our journey has been marked by innovation, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Today, we continue to design and build cutting-edge aircraft, compete at the highest levels, and inspire the next generation of aerospace engineers. Our team combines diverse expertise in aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, avionics, and systems engineering to create aircraft that are both innovative and competitive.
Lycans AeroDesign Team was founded by a group of passionate engineering students from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University under the supervision of Dr. Mohsen Osman.
Converted the team to electric aircraft, which was a major challenge but we were able to achieve it.
Achieved the first fully autonomous flight in the history of the team
